3-Layer Polypropylene or also known as 3LPP pipe coating comprises three layers. Similar to 3LPE coated Layer, the first layer is the fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) and the second layer is copolymer adhesive, what distinguishes them is the top surface layer: polypropylene, which provides a higher temperature resistance ranging from -40℃ to 140℃
The three layers of external coating have excellent chemical resistance properties and resistance to abrasion, acid, alkali and cathodic disbanding, etc. The 3LPP coating is commonly applied on large diameter carbon steel pipes and the service life of steel pipe with 3LPP coated can be more than 75 years. 3LPP steel pipe has a wide application for transportation, bridge pipeline used in oil & gas, drinking water pipelines and plant process water.
