ASTM A707 specification covers forged carbon and alloy steel flanges intended primarily for petroleum and gas pipelines in areas subject to low temperatures. It has Eight grades, four yield-strength classes, and three different notch toughness levels. Grade L1(Classes1 and2), Grade L2(Classes1,2,and 3), Grade L3( Classes1,2,and 3), Grade L4( Classes1,2,and 3), GradeL7(Classes1 and 2), Grades L5, L6, and L8 are generally available in any class. The impact tests of Grade L3 can be conducted under the minus 46℃. WLD steel mainly supplying the ASTM A707 grade L3 weld neck flanges for low temperatures.
